I think this thing is over for a long time. But occasionally I think of it. Always feel uncomfortable.
When I first heard about the shooting that killed a couple of Auburn football players, I naturally felt sick to my stomach. It is always unnerving to hear about any senseless and tragic event like that, but add to the fact that those killed were talented and gifted athletes that had the potential to be role models for younger generations and it becomes that much worse.
Life is too precious, we want to treasure the life. Should not let a similar thing happened.After the initial reaction I felt, I scanned Twitter to see what other people were saying about the incident. I was pleasantly surprised to see the support people were showing from all over the country, but most notably from fans of Alabama, Auburn’s bitter rivals.
Because BYU and Utah are currently in a struggle to keep their own rivalry going, I thought it would be beneficial to take a step back and see what really matters looking through a wider lens.
